I can tell you as a ex swift mechanic most of us had no idea inverters were banned nor could we care less. If you have a plug in inverter you should be fine. Generally we were much more worried about what kind of diseases we would catch getting into that truck. I've seen everything in a swift truck from month old molding food, to blow up dolls on the bunk. Lol trust me the last thing we care about is how you charge your laptop.
By the way some of the most professional, well kept drivers I have ever known worked for swift. My father being one of them. But also some of the biggest slobs I've known work there.

I went from swift which gives you nothing to having a 2000 watt wired inverter and an APU. Night and day. You can make it though.

EDIT - well thats a tough post to follow behind

    Marky84 Thanks this.

Oh my stars no inverter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What will I do.The OP sounds like the world is coming to an end because swift does'nt allow inverters.Alot won't allow inverters because they can cause a fire.Walmart does sell 12 volt inverter that works great. You have enough power for laptop, cell and DVD player.Trk stops have 12 volt inverters as well.

    ralph and Marky84 Thank this.
