I agree with zukimart, I have a 2000w inverter coffee maker,tv, laptop 4.3 magic chef fridge/freezer 26in tv\dvd. I'll never work for a company that doesn't allow me to be comfortable. Don't watch tv much but I run reefer so I know when I'm on the east coast I can watch a movie without being interrupted cause they take forever
How do you drivers overcome the hindrance of Swift not allowing inverters in trucks?

Got my new 2013 Volvo automatic with the built-in inverter all set up today. It's got the built-in refer with a 0.7 cubic ft microwave and 17" LCD HD television. My coffee maker is readily accessible along with my laptop. Of course my Webasto bunk heater keeps me nice and toasty in the winter while sleeping and a built-in air cooler for the summer.
Truck driving is sooooo toughMarky84 Thanks this. -
figuratively speaking. that and i always have 3gal of water in my tuck at any given time. coffee is simple if you like foldgers and i keep my french vanilla creamer inthe fridge.. easy.. that and when i wake up i flip a switch, start the truck and when my pretrip is done i have coffee..
truck stop coffee is good, yes.. but im not always in a big box truck stop.NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
Folgers? Seattle's Best for me with half & half I keep in the fridge. Truckstop coffee is almost always nasty.

8 years in the Navy ... I can tolerate bad coffee ... I'll just heat some h2o in the microwave and use the Starbucks instant - black.

Thanks bisqueak. What would be good for me if I wanted the fridge, microwave, maybe a coffeemaker, DVD/bd player and a tv? Plus electric blanket for the fiancé, she wants to come with. With her gadgets as well. 2 iPads, 2 laptops, total?

I just bought a rechargable battery jumper that doubles as a portable inverter. It has 120V plugs, USB, and 12V sockets. Plus it can inflate your tires. It cost $99 plus tax and it'll pay for itself in no time. Just think of what I can do with a 1200 Amp portable inverter. I'll use it on my break, and charge it while driving.
