I'm an experienced hazmat driver and I'm looking to move on. With the demand for drivers and all those classified websites how did you find your current job? I have a clean driving record (knock on wood).

Really? Indeed has been like a black hole for me, but I'm not a driver. Most jobs come from a personal connection. I get a lot of insurance sales offers from my careerbuilder resume - not related to my background. Recruiters comb linked in, but that may be mostly for cubicle world jobs.

The unemployment office is pushing truck driving as a hot job, along with seamstress, welder, and registered nurse.

If your on Facebook, do an search for Truckers Job Board... Lots of recruiters on there for smaller and midsized companies always hiring for different areas in the country. You can also post what you are looking for and maybe has something that meets your needs

Thanks. I have beyond.com email alerts (some relevant, some spam), and indeed lists recommend jobs based on previous searches if you log in.

Indeed.com Craig's list work for you paper which is at any news stand unless u dont get that paper.if not there's probably other help wanted papers. drive around see what's on the roads remember the name call that company or see if they have a website.talk to other drivers these applications on line that goes to many companies, unless you're looking or redional or dedicated I wouldn't waste my time because you're going to get every company that's listed on that Site call you and there are many, monster.com is another good site.
