How Do You Find Cheap Fuel? Which apps and sites do you use?

Yes. The water content was higher than the UREA. There was a thread on here where a mechanic tested this theory with his trucks and the issues went away. We had same results. Only used virgin DEF in totes and no issues after that.

 

Even those who say they are compliant with logs im sure have violated them in some manner. Simple transaction when paying for lumpers or getting cash advances require you to be on duty. Tell me everyone does that.

 

We have DEF truck . The company has issues with them . But there is 1 driver that doesnt going on 4yrs now and 3 new truck assignments. He says he keeps his torque up when pulling hills and always keeps the DEF tanks topped off to keep moisture out. Not 1 issue with emission why others in the fleet do. No check engine lights nothing . Is he lucky who knows but it works for him. Current truck has 600,000 still no issues

Anyone want to know where the cheap fuel is? Go to Overtone, NE I-80 exit 248...2.28. No NASTC or whatever needed, just cash. The fuel smells and tastes good, so said my truck 800 miles later...

Not a supermodern place, 2.28 hard to beat in Nebraska.

There could be a quite amount of doubt, if those cheap places are not too cheap. For instance, the pumps there were pretty much a museum exhibits. It also makes you wonder what their underground tanks look like, if they are not leaking and the fuel at the bottom is not mixing with some mud. I watched the fuel coming out of the nozzles and must say it looked nice, a little greenish clear classic diesel liquid, not that BIO yellow urine they serve in a lot of places.

 

Same here been using it for years; free app, easy to search by states, highways, shows the distance from your location to every fueling location , love it.
