How do you find companies that hire owner operators with trucks older than 2000?

Just went through this process with my 96' tractor. As long as you have a 6pin or 9pin data port that will relay odometer and truck speed you "should" be good.
I called atleast 10 carriers most wanted 2000 and newer, others required 2010 and newer. There were a handful that said we dont care as long as it works with ELD they use.
Good luck.G13Tomcat and Cabinover101 Thank this. -

Has anyone else noticed that @Wolf Woman (the O/P) was another one hit wonder?!? I mean, maybe it 'wasn't' her / their truck to begin with, just saying. If he 'loves' this industry so much, I mean.. C'MON~!! I'd be in tears if I was in that sitch.
Carry on, fine folks. We tried.
