What are the company names? Could you provide a link please so I could apply to them? Do they hire 21 year olds with no experience?

I started out making 40k and now im making just a tad under 50k. Ive only been driving for about 3 years now. I work for a local foodservice, home every night, working 60 hours a week. Might check into foodservices around your area. Only downfall is you have to unload all of your product via 2-wheeler.

i would say luck+research: Also a clean driving record really helps.

    1) lots of research----pay rates+volume of work.

    2) foodservice as a suggestion---they do hire new drivers. Auto hauling not so much, but even if they did the auto industry is maybe not operating at full capacity?

Around spring 2000 when i was with a food distributor, there was a 21 yr old kid making about 50K. It was his first driving job, so yes it is possible.

There is work in ND, but have a place to live. I would not suggest you bring more than yourself and your work clothes.

Is this realistic? ( Ballpark figures)

    .27 cents a mile
    500 miles a day times 5 days=675 a week
    675 x 4 weeks=2700 - taxes (20%=540)=2160 a month
    =25920 take home a year.

Is this what someone can look forward to starting out?

To start with 500 X 7 = 3,500 not 4,200 which is still a lot of miles to average per week.

    The 4200 was .30 cents times 500miles a day/7 days a week. =4200.00 dollars a month before taxes.

But from what I've been reading 2500 miles a week is an average. I'm assuming 500 miles a day 5 days a week=2500 miles a week.
