Thay called and said your good $3,300 down and would finance me for 36 months well just got the paper work on a loan for $14,500 im puting $10,000 down my notes will be $980 a month for 36 months just to do the loan thay want $4,000 the interest rate is 28% you have to have gab insurance theft all kinds of shXX. So to loan $14,500 it going to cost you $20,780 thats $35,280 and im putting $10,000 down thats nuts!!! for a $25,000 doller truck.

There are local banks willing to loan out there. I don't have anything with the majors, nothing against them but it seems those with about 6 branches total are willing to at least look into working with someone.

Oh & 28% interest? Credit Card companies would almost be ashamed of that sort of deal...almost. ;)

take another look at Selectrucks. Just because they don't have what your looking for on the lot doesn't mean they cant get it. When I was looking for a truck I talked to them. Their first time buyer program is pretty good. With $10K down you could probably get an 07 Century 13sp S60 w/3.42 rears and a 2 year warranty and a bunch of other goodies as far as warranties etc. If they want to make the sale they will find what you are looking for.

The salesman is blowing smoke up your stack. Are you dead set on those specs? The midroof columbia w/S60 13sp. is doable. the 240" w/b you might have to budge on. The way I understand it is that Selectrucks is Freightliners off lease fleet truck division. All the Selectrucks dealers pull from the same inventory, or pool of trucks so to speak. If you find the truck you want at say Selectrucks of Kansas City, the Houston Selectrucks dealer can get the exact same truck, they would have to pull one from the pool with the specs your looking for. Funny thing is when I dealt with them the salesperson told me the same thing, until I told him I think I'll keep looking. Then all of a sudden he could get one from another dealer. The truck he came up with was exactly what I wanted spec wise. Then I told him I didn't like red. I wanted gun metal grey. 2 hours later he called me back with my truck. Push them a little, if they want the sale, they'll get it done.
