How does one go about getting a job like this? Has anyone on here ever done anything like this before? What was the biggest load you ever hauled? The biggest load I've ever hauled was a girl I met at the bar a few weeks back! But thats a whole different subject!!!:biggrin_2556:

Cool, Thanks critters, maybe I should have posted this there. moderators feel free to move this if you don't like it here. Critters, I give you guys credit. That looks like a big bunch of stress riding behind you! But at the same time you have to feel like the king with a load like that.

    Steer car w/ a pusher. Looks like a Hot batch plant drum/mixer. That's a bunch of Iron. 15 axles/120-140T?

Not really kings, if you get to comfortable doing these types of loads, things get real bad. They have more rules or restrictions and curfews.and don't forget the delays.but we do love doing them.

You need to look for crane and rigging companies. I used to work for Barnhart Crane and Rigging in Memphis TN. You can start out just hauling regular loads on a flatbed and work yourself up into more complicated stuff. We used to do trial runs on Presidents Island in Memphis when getting ready for big jobs. I am still not sure how they talked themselves out of the ticket when they were practicing with a 700,000lbs load and the DOT guy stopped them. :biggrin_2556:

Why? Are you a slow learner or just trying to bent the rules sometimes:biggrin_25525:? Seems like they just like to slide the decimal point of your weight for the fine amount.
