Most have a mailbox at home. Unless you are making some kind of plans to live forever in the truck and not have a set address, your mail will be handled the same way it always has been. If you are going to live out of the truck, then you may have to get a postal box or make some other arrangements for your incoming mail.

I have always used a P.O. Box here Las Vegas, due to identity theft. People like to steal mail from mail boxes. I was just wondering, if your OTR for weeks and cant get back to check it, mainly for bills.

Get online and have your bills electronically emailed to you. Pay them online and your done. Fast and convenient and no ties to a physical address.

When I was traveling alot and gone for a month at a time, I got a large P.O. Box at my local Post Office, and had them forward all of my mail there. I'd go by the Post Office when I got home and had a months worth of mail. But some of the other posters are correct. If possible deal with your bills on line and pay them from your bank account. Otherwise, some of your bills will be late when you get home.

According to DOT regulations you need a fysical address. So only having a PO BOX will not suffice. You can off course have a PO BOX besides your fysical adress. Just get your mail when you have home time. Or by a mailbox that is tampering proof. There about 60 bucks at Home Depot. The suggestion of investing in a laptop with a wireless internet card is good for paying bills online. Little pricey if you are just starting out though. Good luck.

You get a suite added to the address.
Would this be acceptable for DOT? Its not really a PO box? -
If you have a cell phone you can also use that to pay bills too. I find it a bit safer than the wi-fi internet access considering the ID theft these days. I use my parents as a mailing address for the most part.
