"running hard" is a term that is vague or misleading at best. I have always ran as hard as it takes to get whatever particular load I'm hauling delivered on time. I'm in the flatbed world, we're supposed to do a load check every 150 miles and I do. Hit a rest area, do a quick walk around the load, walk into the bldg, take care of business then back out and at it. I always try and get to the receiver's as soon as possible if I know I can get the load off, if not, park nearby, and wait for the appointment time. I keep my dispatcher informed of progress and she always has my next load ready for me. I think that's the way to run hard, get done with what you got and get another and repeat.
How do you guys drive over 200 miles without a break?

In the long run, holding your urine can cause kidney damage, infections, and stones. You are much better off getting that Gatorade bottle
BostonTanker, MidWest_MacDaddy and White_Knuckle_Newbie Thank this. -
I go for seven and a half, two bottles of water a sip at a time. It gives you a lot more time to sleep.

Flatbed si I gotta stop every 150 miles to check the load. Every morning I take a pregame dump so I only have to stop to pee. I hit as many on ramps as possible for my stops and water my drives. I'm only stopped for 5 mins.
