Also look and make sure you are hooking up to the right one! (exrayman400 looks up and whistles as he types this) yep I hooked up to one, raised the landing gear and attached the air lines and electric, only to be chased by a fellow driver screaming you got my load. :biggrin_25523:

Not in Minnesota he won't. Plenty of gravel hauling/road contstruction/grain hauling/harvesting places will hire him for intrastate work. And chances are, he'll make more money then you & be home nightly.

Well gee he's in for alot fun isnt he,:biggrin_2559: let me explain, or try, hooking up a trl is not easy , as you might think, there are many many things can go wroung in hurry and thanks too trl jocky who parks your empty on a 45 degree hill with the nose up in the air 10 feet , cause the rear tadem slid off the bank cause of the mud and your dispacth sends you 89 miles too pickup the trl as the only empty they had , o ya that was a fun night , hook a chain onto the landing gear blocked what left of the front tandem , hook one air line, put in gear and go like heck dragging it over the mud and up back level , ya i was full of mud , and pissed off ta boot:biggrin_25510:, or how bout when in the middel of winter trl full load 45899 and sunk in mud up the over the pads and in water now about 5 inchs of ice , these are just some of joys of trailering , i love it when i was in chicago and i knew it but this driver took the tracks too fast and his landing gear hit the tracks , almost jerk the truck in two, then i seen lazy drivers who dont even crank up the landing gear and down the streets they go, this was okay when back in th 50's when they had steel dollys on the landing gear but for me , i just do like everyboby says here, plus i get out after everything is done and look at the fith wheel and kingpin with my magum flashlight, throw them leds lights away there not bright enuff in dayllight too look under there, then every time i stopped for lunch i do it every time get flashlight out check again and fith wheel handel too just a habit for me now, seen over in michgan at ice moution water full dress pete 379 with same color trl bright red , but trl was bright red trim with chrome sides , i went down too truckstop too weigh , he did too, he left ahead of me , i finnly got going , and there he sat at the shoulder across the exit, as he turn left his trl went straight almost made the exit back on , but miss by 45 feet his truck was up on the shoulder, that be a spendy bill with a full load of water :biggrin_25524:
