I run dry bulk so I go to a lot of areas that have dirt lots or flour laying around on the ground. I thought about getting a vacuum cleaner, but I've noticed that some people tap into the air of the drivers seat. Or maybe boot cleaners on the running boards? What do you do?

On othe first few trucks we tapped into the air and that helped a great deal. However, even with that we needed the vacumn. I try to use a mat on the passenger side and get in out on that side only but my hubby doesn't care for that so we pretty much stopped.

So it's the vac and swiffers that save me. Also I use the shop's vac as often as possible and that has so much more power than my little one.

The airhose blower that anyone can easily install to there air seats is great. Thing about them is there are two main brands that make most all of them. There is a cheep one which is worthless and an expensive one which is great. Forgot what brands they are. I bought the cheep one, removed it kept leeking, put pipe dope and tape on it, flange stripped out ets.... Got the expensive one worked perfectly since the simple 5 minut installation with vise grips and a cresent wrench.

The swifters are awsum. They sell them at wallmart, you can buy different scents or unscented which I prefer becouse I dont like strong smells. They are like a mop with clip on wet wipe things at the end you just throw away. Work great simple to use, cheep, friggen awsum. Dont have or want any carpet in my truck, no pets, no need for a vacume. I lysal everything. I buy the generic type, fresh linen scent. When I go to the sleeper I shoot the seats and the floor ets. When I drive I shoot my bed and ocassionally my close bins, dont hurt. I do that every few days or so whenever I think about it. Keeps it steril so no critters, fungus, bacteria, viruses ets can grow or multiply in my truck. I never get sick and I am not like one of those add people aether just occasional cleaning with good products is all it takes.

Lots of windex and paper towls you go threw a lot of this. Use it on your mirrors, everytime you have a spill of anykind, around your ashtray, and cup holder you will use windex and paper towels almost everyday for something, so buy lots of it when you can get to a walmart or other discount store, pretty expensive at truckstops.

I windex everything. My swifter mop is wet but not that wet. So I spray the floor with windex and a good layer of lysol let it soak for a few seconds before it evaporates before my first mop. Then I hit my floor a second time with a new mop pad. Bout every couple weeks.
I also use armorall on the dash ets.. every few months. Just my thing.

Dont buy chrome or aluminum polish you will hate it and only use it a few times, pretty expensive stuff to pay for when you will only get a few uses out of it and end up throwing it away. I love physical work, but polishing really really su.cks.

Ain't that the truth. I bought one of those with good intentions but it didn't do squat!

For now, I just have a small whisk brook that I use to sweet my driver side floor and middle area. If I have time I'll use the vacuum at Blue Beacon if I'm already in line to warsh the truck.

Main thing I had to remember was just to keep on top of it. Let it go a few days and then it becomes a real chore. Hauled a lot of oversize tanks to oilsites in ND,CO,UT,WY and what ever back.. Would normally slip on overalls while loading. After getting secured would just sit on step and remove. At least get in as clean as possible. Never tried the little airhose but lots of drivers seem to like them. Best way is the hardest. Find freight paying enough to pay to have it detailed at shop.
Nana get that pie off there. I'm hungry!
