So last ten years plus years or so I've been running midwest regional and like clockwork home Friday or Saturday the latest for at least my reset. This is only maybe my 3rd time stuck all weekend in the truck. I'm going absolutely insane from boredom.
Not saying that home life is much more exciting but atleast I can poke and pinch at the wife and annoy her for 34 hours lol.

yeah stuck kind of on my own choice but lack of freight to pick from out here seems like. anyhow after next weekend gonna keep my but in midwest where I belong, too #### hot down here by houston.

I get stuck where i choose. Sitting in a truck is not my life. I'll be doing something no matter where I'm "stuck". Here's last weeks "stuck". Little bit of fishin, and walkin right up the middle of EB I-90.

I always made it a point to get out of the truck on resets. I always tried to reset near a golf course.

I only knew of one course with truck parking and of course it wasn't on my lanes so I took an uber or if it was close enough I'd take my kick scooter.

I've got Nebraska and Nevada with truck parking, and quite a few with less than 2 mile walks to the course. All these have rental clubs.

There a truckstop right up the road from me. Golf course maybe 2 blks to the north, Fishing hole right next to the ts, Bowling ally maybe another 2 blast to the east. And a world class pizza/ bar across the street to the south. Only problem is it's a small pilot and very little parking

I generally tried to reset near food, laundry and shower. If there wasn't any wifi, I'd close up my curtains and enjoy some "picture magazines", then catch up on my rest. Be safe.

For that location I'd sit for awhile and wait for someone to leave. Since it's a pilot hopefully it doesn't catch on fire while I'm away from the truck.

One of the biggest reasons I have a small tv in the truck is you never know where you might get stuck, I’ve got a big tv at home, but if I’m covering something on the road, I can just as easily kick back and watch tv in the bunk if I have to,the only thing I wish I had was my own bathroom/shower in the truck, but I don’t think I even have 100 nights in the truck so far this year so I guess I’ll live for now
