Rolled into Anheuser this morning, bit before 0630. Talking to the guard, getting the 411. Felt, what would have been a wicked fart, I mean the kind you're proud of, like a son... But it came with a gut bubble. Clinch up. Pray to God the guard speaks a little faster, and i make my answers real short, monosyllabic ('yeah', 'no', 'kay').

Duck-walk it in duo-tempo to receiving. (the expression 'has got the trots' sums it up well)

It was near a bad day to be my pants. And i think it was certainly related to those beers I had on behalf of @scottied67 last night.

So no one else uses the mind over matter trick?
And no one else realizes that nothing is actually cold?

Everything is warm, because absolute cold or hot can not be achieved.

It might be 10 F degrees when I venture out of the truck.
People are all bundled up in hat and gloves and big coat, while I am wearing jeans and a shirt. They look at me like I'm crazy, but I'm fine and warm.
Granted, I wear flannel lined jeans and shirt in those conditions. And going from the truck to the store and back doesn't leave me in those conditions for all that long.

Even so, sometimes I like to be a bit warmer in my bunk.
A good blanket and the bunk heater are all I usually need. If it gets too cool I will run the engine and use the heater.
And if it is really that 'cold' I will need to idle the truck to avoid fuel jelling.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

You really need to watch out for people that like to pull practical jokes.

    Blown up.

Post did not come out right.

I sometimes wonder what in the world is going on when forums do not work smoothly. I can blow it up and fix it over or I can just collect the no goodposts and replicate them at sunrise as people warm up sufficiently to care about a a y
