How do you report a company that doesn't pay??!!!

    Husband drove for a guy for 5 months, the guy kept making excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't pay him, he would give a little here and there but was always out of money. He was a "friend" until all this came about, and he owes upwards of $5K still and is refusing to pay as promised. He got mad when husband quit and blames everyone else for his issues. Has not paid any of his bills to friends and has taken advantage of all those around him, after my husband quit we have come to find out he has done this to several different drivers. I know it was not smart to keep on driving but we were helping out a friend who in the end screwed us. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    Guys like him are always bleeding the earned company money into life choices/decisions, like the ex, the current girlfriend, drugs, gambling, alcohol, cars, fancy excursions, etc. Money is being made, he is just diverting it before it can go to driver pay. He will be out of business soon.

    Fille a complaint with local labor board for starters. Have as much relevant information about the name of the company,registered address and contact info. how much is owed bills etc. You can get a judgement if you have you ducks in order. The hard part is collecting on said judgement if and when it's rendered. Good luck.

    Take it to small court.. it may cost you $20-40 but you will get what you asked. No need for an attorney . Represent yourself with proof of jobs was done.. don't forget that time you spend on getting what you must to be paid

    Have the local police come and lock his stealing a_s up . This is straight up 'Fraud .' Put him in jail until he get's right with you then let the Judge have at him for breaking Felony law .!!
