How do you signal the driver of the vehicle in front of you to let him/her know that

Nothing if they don't respond on the cb. because they shoulda checked them before they left with the trailer. Lots of drivers just don't give a ####.

 

Pretty much what he said, if someone doesn't have a CB it pretty much says they don't care, so at that point it's on them.

 

a cb is or should be mandatory in my view, i wouldn't leave home without drivers license same with cb. If thy don't answer then it shows they really don't care in my view. I have called the company of a few that didn't have any lights at all on there trl, and said you have trl# such and such on this highway and mile marker so&so and the reason for my call and leave it at that

Social talking should be moved off 19 and then only important stuff.

Next you will dictate that if they are on another channel, they will have to have another radio tuned to 19.

 

Maybe implementing the technician exam for amateur radio would be a better option. Just have it attached to the CDL during the permit phase.

Way more frequencies to choose from, much cleaner sound, a few rules to keep the airwaves from becoming like the CB band.

 

I've tried to let others know they have something wrong with their truck, locked brakes, lights, whatever. Nobody ever responded so to hell with it.

I don't say anything these days.
