how do you use 1/2 a,shower at a pilot?

Never hurts to ask I did one cold night after dinner with the boss and I hadnt fueled yet. I was at a FJ outside of Tulsa. I flirted with the lady behind the counter, swiped my card to show I had no points or half a point, looked bummed and started pulling out 12 bucks and mumbling thats what I get for not fueling 1st. She said "sugar I got you" and gave me the credit because there was no wait. Later on I fueled, to the tune of 145ish gal and got a couple more credits
