I drove my dad's 18 speed yesterday. I like them a lot, I just love those 15 speeds for some reason. As far as the paint, I think the Seminole paint job KW had is one of the best looking of all the paint jobs out there. My personal combo would be maroon and white Seminole style like this.

I've tried them too...they suck. Never tried the Volvo iShift though. I also heard they've developed a dual clutch transmission. Now that might be the ticket. Single clutch auto-manuals were notoriously bad when they were first put into cars around 15 years ago but have since improved immensely.

Company truck? A way to stay warm in winter and cool in the summer with the engine off. The Freightliner SmartPark system is pretty nice.

Full locking rears not just a power divider can save a ton of hassle and wasted time in tricky low traction situations. Company rigs usually always cheap out on that one but then again, what's a stuck truck worth?

The same as a truck that can't steer. We pulled more trucks out of ditches with their lockers on than we did trucks without them on.

People think that you can drive down the road with your lockers in. You can't. They are good for getting out of mud(if you have decent tires) and traveling in a straight line.

Solid snow road maybe, but watch for asphalt patches.

They're not bad if they can slip and spin. If they grab and bite, like you said, hold on!
