I don’t eat at restaurants except for a very rare occasion and then it’s only something like fries or a baked potato so 99% of the things I eat (vegetarian btw) come from a grocery store. This may sound stupid but do you buy jugs of water and wash them in the parking lot where you buy your food or what?

I would, just because other hands were touching them. Rule of thumb, always wash uncooked food that you are putting in your mouth.

Tap water in a used 1 gallon water bottle.

Put fruit /vegetables in a large sized ziploc bag, pour water into bag, shake bag, or just pour water directly on fruit/vegetable to wash,in parking lot,or if at a truck stop or company terminal,go inside and wash directly at sink. I don't see a problem pouring water over fruit/vegetable in the parking lot. The water on the ground will eventually evaporate, and it leaves no odor.

Some truck stops sell fruit.Just make sure the stuff you are taking inside to wash is not something that they sell inside,or you might have to explain that it is not their sfruit you are washing.

I put mine in a mesh bag and go dip them in the toliet! from the looks of some of them it's pretty safe, don't think they have ever been hit.

I usually just pee on mine.

    Urine is sterile, right? :biggrin_25524:

On a more serious note, I use a mesh bag and take them with me when I go to shower. A quick rinse before I shower, then let them hang and they're good to go when I am.

Spray with Fit® and rince with bottled water or peel. I also buy bag salad and baby carrots and the pre washed steam bag broccoli.

I've read reports about those bags of greens.
Pretty dirty stuff, in more ways than one.

That brown stuff on the rim is a good indicator that this toilet if for washing your veggies.
