Very embarrassing to say but I'm learning how to install truck batteries. I'm just trying to get the engine running so I can verify the oil pressure. As it stands I'm learning to weld more than I am learning how to install these.

Does anyone have a diagram or a picture of how these are supposed to go? 20250705_160502.jpg

If truck has four cables. Both positives go to the big stud on the solenoid on the starter. With three batteries Hook one cable to two of the batteries with one jumper. Hook the other one to the third battery by itself.
The two negative cables either go to the big stud ground on the starter motor together or one goes to a ground stud or bolt on the truck frame. Run the one that grounds on starter to the two batteries with jumper and run the one that grounds to frame on the third single battery.
