I find it less expensive than where I live to get licensing out of state. I was wondering how that works.

do I change my license to that state?

These are neighboring states that I am thinking about.

there may be rules/stipulations regarding this.

many times, you need to switch over your license with-in a few days of moving to that state.

some change overs require you have the license for at least 6 months to 2 years before seeking a permit for yet another class of license.

you NEED to know the residency requirements.

so you NEED to inquire at the states you are thinking about.

    pcozzy Thanks this.
