How does hourly pay work in trucking?

    Pay from the time they start their pre trip to when they end their post trip, including the 30 minutes if you want to show generosity. So log time and encouragement for inspections.

    If you do that, might as well just make a sliding mileage pay. 1-50 miles is x/cpm, 51-250 is y/cpm, etc...

    I clock in and out when i walk into and out of the building. If i am overnight i clock in and out before and after my pre and post trip inspections. We clock out for our 30 minute break. Right now i get paid time and a half for overtime over 40hrs. And i have worked up to 4 weeks paid vacation.
