My oldest daughter worked her way through college as a waitress at a local chain restaurant. She didn't have to work but she wanted to contribute. Good kid.
She says that what she saw going on in the kitchen has scared her away from eating anywhere except home. There wasn't anything as gross as Arby's but some of it was real close.
Like, if you send your food back because it's undercooked or whatever you can count on the chef spitting on it. If you grumble at a waitress your food might have worse than that done to it.
####roaches, maggots on meat scraps in corners under the sink, mouse and rat droppings everywhere, nobody washing their hands after bathroom breaks and running dishes through the dishwasher with no soap because they ran out were common and recurrent problems.
The health inspectors never seemed to find anything wrong because the restaurant always got a call the day before inspection.
How does that Milkshake taste?
