How does the 70 hours of 8 days work out and 34 hour reset?

The HOS really needs to be overhauled. To me, there's nothing worse than running out of hours early then having to start running again when you recap hours at 2200 on the west coast. That's far more dangerous than driving five hours over on your 70. An 8/80 or a 14/120 like they have in Canada would be better.

However the HOS were changed the number of complaint remain unchanged. Better they stay the same & everybody figure how to live with them than change them every 2 years and see what happens. The IRS code is a million pages because they keep "fixing" them.G13Tomcat Thanks this.

I agree it seems like anything that pops into the OP's head he starts a thread asking others. By the way Crazybread if you feel the need to ask how we find time to take a dump. There is already a thread on it . I remember reading it a few yrs back.
