The first liar doesn't have a chance! No matter the story, someone has gone faster, heavier, paid a bigger fine or beat up more lumpers!

    Is that right?.....hmmmmm

I don't have specific experience with thermal cameras, but what you stated above is interesting (to me, anyways)

    Well that's not quite true.

They said they do a 10% sample rate of trucks with pre-pass.

Also, violations occur outside the coop, and these will result in the "automatic" pass being reviewed, after they are added to the hot list

I got pulled in to the scales in Brownsville Tennessee, and I was directly behind another company truck . I got the "pull around" and he got to keep going. I asked the dot officer why I was chosen, he said it was set to random. I looked at the operator board, and sure enough, it was on random.

I got pulled around back to the inspection bay at the Cumberland MD scales years ago. I asked the trooper what made them want to inspect my truck. His answer:

    "We had an open bay".....

Kentucky, I went in and got the bypass signal 10mph lane.

Doing 25 thru it will get you an inspection.

He asked ME why I was there. Lol.
I told him the truck couldn't drop lower than 7th gear. I was looked over, then told to scram, with a 'slow it down'. Yessah!
