How does the engine brake work relative to downshifting and upshifting?

    Put him in an auto shift.

    Maybe move his seat back. We have done this for some tall guys on special request.

    In every truck I've ever been in, the only way to get the seat far enough back so I would have to 'reach' to get into the clutch brake would be to remove the cabinets behind the driver's seat.
