How does US Xpress determine who gets an automatic vs a manual transmission

Thats the least of your problems..getting one that runs good is the mission..

 

If you are a team you will NOT be getting an automatic. They are being phased out and teams get new or nearly new trucks. Your mileage and home time will depend on a couple of things. Your relationship with your fleet manager and your ability to do your job and deliver on time. Coincidentally, these two things are related.

You should figure on 5000 to 6000 miles a week when you are running. Some weeks will be less, some more.

 

This is JUST SAD..RAN ACROSS A ,U,S,X DRIVER TODAY,THAT WAS TEAMING FOR A DAY ON A DEDICATED ACCOUNT,HIS TRUCK BROKE DOWN..NO PROBLEM..DC,HAS A SPARE TRUCK..WOW...WELL GUY COULD NOT TAKE TRUCK,CAUSE HE CAN NOT DRIVE A 10 SPEED..WTF...I TOLD HIM DUDE WHEN U WAS IN SCHOOL..HE LOOKED AT ME AND SAID NO SCHOOL HAD AUTO,S. I DONT BELEAVE THAT.BUT ANYWAYS..HE JUST UP GRADED FROM USX,HE HAS BEEN WITH A TRAINER WHO HAD A AUTO..AGAIN WTF..SO I FIGURE THIS GUY IS USELESS..USX,WILL GET RID OF HIM...NOPE GET HIM TO MARKHAM,CAUSE THEY HV A AUTO FOR HIM..WOW..WOW...

 

We had 10 speeds in school. When we got our first job, its a 13 speed and fell in love with it! But, our truck is sooo under powered. Dont like that part! Looking forward to USX.
