just check the oil more than once and add as needed
-
Really ? your gonna run it like that ?"shop dont have time" I say you'll run out time before you make it to del point.

marmonman....u dont figure that leak could get really extreme do ya?..I drove it about 500 miles like that to get it to our shop...they told me it's that o ring but wouldnt say rather its ok to drive it for a few days...I just dont know much about it...wouldnt want it to just all the sudden dump all the oil or somthin crazy
-
It won't blow out and drain your oil out it is just a leak not a stream you will be ok . Just keep a eye on the oil pressure and check it at least twice a day
-
will do.. I appreciate it..just bought this truck 3 weeks ago and havnt made a dollar yet..spend spend spend
-
I would run it, probably will not get worse if just an O - ring. Just keep an eye on the oil level. Keep 2 gallons in the truck, just in case.

Leaking Oil, from the air compressor. Down stream from the air compressor, you'll find an increased buildup of oil inside the air dryer cartridge and the air tanks. You will want to start thinking about replacing your air dryer cartridge & drain "frequently" the air tanks. O-rings start to break down due to an increase in the buildup of sulphur trioxide compounds...due to running the oil in your motor too long in-between oil changes. Genuinely, im pretty sure your air compressor will continue to work but by all means check your oil level, replace as needed that is until you replace the air compressor.
