That last sounds like a really nice commute. Unless of course, you are living in a dilapidated trailer in a run down trailer park in an industrial area. . .
How Far is your commute everyday?

Well, sub freezing temperatures on the bike kind of suck in the morning. When I rode longer distances I would gear up for the ride, but I can't deal with full riding gear for a .7 mile ride, so I just freeze it out.
It does wake me up though, and when the work days get long it is very nice to be getting home when everyone else still has a 30-40 minute drive back to their homes. -
18 miles one way, but it still make take 30 mins due to traffic.

18 miles one way 22-24min depending on traffic. Luckily I do a layover so it's every other day I have a commute. Use to hope they go to a turn but now I think about how much extra money id burn for fuel and I lose the $14.00 layover pay its kinda better id do a layover vs turn home daily. Would lose 105.00-140.00 in fuel and layover pay every 2 weeks if I was home daily. I Still get my weekends off too on layover.
