How good is salary for a driver?

    But in seriousness, just apply around, and see who bites, telling them your looking to get out of food work is all they need to hear, plus your drive in.

    Will do. Does trailer size matter though if what I'm pulling is from 28-36? I've had some companies say it needs to be 48-53 foot. Which I thought was odd bc I still got the experience

    Well alot run both, abf conway excc all have pups, so right in your wheel house. As long as you trust yourself, just say class A. And let your driving test do the talking. Sell yourself driver! Your the comodity, make them want it.

    I clear $1300 CAD bi-weekly (after tax) for 50-54 hours a week. You are making about the norm for that kind of work. If you want to make more money and do less work, go OTR.

    I don't agree with go otr make more money.
    I would stay where your at, get your experience and apply at one of the freight haulers.
    At least you are staying in shape. I worked for MBM for about 6 years and really liked it, until they cut the pay and other stuff.
