Drove double pneumatics for a while. My first CDL job. They follow you like a new puppy. Backing is limited in distance, but some scales I had to pull up for tare, then back up to load. Very slight movements of the steering wheel are best.
Unload the rear first. Make sure the rear wheels of the rear one never go off the road, esp if there's a high shoulder drop.

No, no, no! Not me! Proud to say I've never gotten into that predicament. -
Definitely. Always look before you leap.

The upside is that you can loop pretty tightly. But you do want to drive with the mindset that you aren't going to back out of anything very far. It becomes second nature.
Stop worrying and love the bomb.bottomdumpin, Woodys and DevJohnson Thank this. -

The big boys would always be loading UAN where I would get def. Always wondered how they pulled myself.

Rocky Mountain double.
I’d come from mn where those aren’t allowed but those guys would be coming from the west where you see a lot of them.
It doesn’t look bad. The second trailer just trails the first so you don’t have to swing any wider from the looks of it.DevJohnson Thanks this. -
