Just finished grilling pork chops for the kids for lunch. Sided with creamy mashed spuds, cheesey brocoli casserole, and 8 cold glasses of milk.

Sorry Ol Buddy - But the Missus has to work tomorrow and has laid claim to the left-overs ..... I could FedEx you some Cinn-A-Bons .... did that last year for a cousin in Lismore as a gag Christmas gift. Apparently they still arrived warm ..... so I was told.

I to am quiet interested in coming to austrailia for a different challange after 26 yrs otr here in the states im looking into going there for a change. I will be on vacation there in may going to lake entrance want to do some researh while im there on the legal process of aquiring work visa license but was quiet curious of the pay differences between au. and the us. and the tax differences as well if it want benefit me then id just be spinning the wheels. so im really looking for some good inside info on this i do have doubles and tripples experience as well though its been since 1997 since ive pulled doubles. I would also like to compare driving laws other then driving on wrong side of truck and road lol. open to suggestions. thanks Yall

Wages will be higher but the cost of living is a lot higher also. The driving rule will probably be a little different and roads are not at the standard you would be used to, mainly two lane roads. I think it takes a little bit to get licence over here too. That said a few companies do get drivers from oversea because we have a shortage here. Your 26 years will not account for much over here the same as my experience wouldn't account for much over there

Good thread ! Interested myself as my family is in Thailand and I could get back to them a little more often - I think:biggrin_25524:
However if it meant taking a hard job in the US and making it harder for less money then no way. I will follow this thread with interest.
