How hard is it to get a CDL license? Do you think it's still worth it?

There's good jobs there if you don't mind the drive.
Also, cdl school is free for that company and pays by the hour while in school, plus meals and lodging.
Health insurance is free also.

I remember you when you signed up on this website. Where have you been; did you violate parole?

 

I got a CDL on my days off from order filling at a Walmart DC and honestly it was a decent challenge. But I’m making a good living hauling caustics 6 months later. Literally doubled my income for a third of the work.

 

Man 3 years ago I left a Walmart DC. 10 years i spent loading trailer and yard driving. One of the best decisions i ever made.

 

If you want to get your CDL and get trained well, I would recommend going to Prime, in Springfield, MO. Cuz they don't charge you and you get paid while there. In my opinion, it's the best training program available for free. CDL schools are about $9,000. I am now an O/O and make about $20K a month after expenses.

 

That is not a true statement. It just happens to be YOUR OPINION. I went thru a mega for my training, stayed about two years and moved on. I was not a slave or a servant to anyone. With a great company now and make a good living. You get out of it what you put into it.

 

Does Prime pay while in CDL school or just give pay advances?
