Step 1: chop up some onions and peppers and saute them in a pan

Step 2: transfer them to a bowl or plate (I like to save about 25% of it to add to my eggs)

Step 3: brown your ground beef. I keep it simple, only season it with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper.

Step 4: drain the juices! This is important because if you don't, then it'll be too watery.

Step 5: add 1-2 cans of refried beans and diced tomatoes. This is why it's important to drain the juices because these cans are a bit liquid-y.

Step 6: add your peppers & onions, let the beans cook for about 10 minutes.

Step 7: heat up some flour tortillas and add your favorite hot sauce or salsa.

    Step 8: bon appetit!

I prefer the premade, wrap in tinfoil, put in the lunchbox oven method. That's just way too much of a mess for a truck, although it looks really good.

If you're in a tough spot and need to get a burrito fix, walmart shredded chicken (fajita flavor), tortilla, sliced Muenster, nuke it, add bean dip and hot sauce, slap a hipster collect avocado tears with a hint of lime and keep it trucking

My olady pre cooks all my breakfast burritos, and every dinner she makes during the week she makes an extra portion. I pack all my food for the week, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It all fits in my fridge, and I microwave each meal, ready to eat in 5 minutes. I made good choices tho…

FFS, don't buy those Bomb burritos at the truck stop. They charge almost $5 and Walmart is probably still under $2.
