    Nana,
Please reread my response to your post. I wasn't, for even a second, offended. I was making light of the fun poked at me by other posters.
I guess I got a little too "familiar" in my reply. I've read far too many of your posts to believe you are anything close to being someone who would offend. I'll have to be more careful. In retrospect I see that I should have added smilies or something to let you know I was joking around. I am so sorry, please accept my apology!

Hey oldnewbie, so going by your theory, and the fact that u said u r a wannabee (which I am taking as "no real OTR experience" dont take that in a bad way- cuz I am new too) BUT in two months time u have 575 posts and been thanked 194 times?? What insight or advice could u have for someone looking for advice on these forums if u dont have any experience??? (ie: being thanked 194 times for info or insight) AGAIN dont take it the wrong way!! I am not bashin ya--- I was just curious? where your philosophy of thinking the ones with the most "thanked" ratings are the ones who know it all or..... more I should say. Be easy on me! OR maybe I just misunderstood your theory...........LOL

    JustSonny Thanks this.

Is this the thread where I gain credibility for the number of times I've been thanked?

I've finally found the right place.. :biggrin_255:

    Now there's an idea I hadn't thought of. :smt115
Two separate stage names with each one backing the other up if there's a dispute resulting in a vote of confidence.
    Hmmmmmmmmmm

For the record, if y'all are readin' stuff posted by AfterShock, for the most part it'll be accurate. However, the mirror image, ShockAfter, might be another story.
Actually, they're exactly the same -----
    only different.

When it comes to trucking, I'm a GIANT. I wrote the book on trucking. People come from miles around just to hear me talk about trucking. Too bad the book is out of print, or you could learn all there is to know about this trucking gig. Unless the publisher decides to reprint this best seller, you will have to read snipets of mine and everyone else's opinion, as I'm too old to remember everything I've learned.

That is, unless I never learned anything, and I dreamed all of this. By the way, what day is this.

The best information comes from the diaries of the drivers themselves. The JCT thread is very informative as well as the central thread. Now other threads are also informative too. Pharmphils thread is another good one too (i rec all potential view his thread).

    JCT Thread:

I am a student and have been blogging my story so potential drivers can see what I am going through. At this time I would like to thank AlanP13, Coastie, JJRanch, Jessjuju, and Jarbo for helping me out and being there. My final thanks goes to Ken for he still gives me good advice and treats me with respect in all threads.

    Take care and be safe

Did ya ever say something to someone and a split second later wish you could take it all back? Sorry, too late, the deed is done.
Well, I've reread my little thread starter more than a couple of times now and although I don't want to take it all back, I do wish that I had had more experience with forums of this sort before I started it. One lesson I have learned, though, is that those little smilies are ###### useful. They can be used to convey the attitude, emotion, and even the intent of the poster. One that would have helped in my little thread starter is this guy:biggrin_25514:. Oh well, you CAN teach an old dog new tricks, it's just mighty hard on the old dog! Live, love and laugh - the rest is just gravy!
