I have narrowed down a search of companies that do CDL training to Millis or Roehl. Niether have a terminal near me. Is that a problem? Are there any better Companies with a terminal near Nashville or Knoxville, TN?

One I have heard good about is R E West. I know they have yards in Lebanon and Ashland City where they train students.

So, if I went for Maverick as an example. The nearest terminal is in either AR or NC. I live in the middle of TN, in the middle of both. Where would I most likely deliever my load? Then I would have to drive from the terminal to my house? That stinks. I only have one car, my wife uses. How would that work?

If I can take the truck home it doesn't matter where the nearest terminal is, right?

    Yes and no...............

Depends on distance, and other things.

You got room for a truck AND trailer ???

At maverick he can drop his trailer and take the truck home. I have an acre, but no room for a trailer.
