Foodservice is off the table. I work in retail now and have worked in food. Those drivers bust their butts and deal with pricky owners, managers, and others who think delivery drivers are to be treated like crap. I for one always treat the drivers great and I know other places do as well.
I am trying to do this locally but my end goal is to move to another state at some point as MA is too expensive to live. Henderson NV catches my eye as well as a few other places.

I have talked to CRST but they are not hiring out of MA due to the transfer rules I had mentioned to you before.

Food service is terrible. I did grocery stores for awhile and that was terrible having to deal with the village idiots that work there.

Plenty of jobs in Henderson/Las Vegas; come on out! I'm actually in Henderson but only 10 minute drive to the strip. Good weather year round!

propertyVEGAS.com is good for finding a place to rent or purchase.

I never went to school and have been approved for hire at every company I apply to. Experience Trump's school every time in my book.

Never was much of an issue when I started in the 80's. Seem to pick up speed in the 90's. Insurance providers drive the requirement more than anything else. My nephew only drove military stuff while in the National Guard, and he got his CDL at the time because he could, hadn't driven commercial at all nor driven any truck for the last 10 months. He recently got hired on with a carrier and had offers from 3 others.
