Just because you were exploited, doesn't mean I'll stand for being exploited.
This is the only industry I've ever heard of the employees are happy to work for no pay. Something is wrong with that mentally.

    Then why are you here?
If you think for a moment you're not getting screwed in some way, you're living in a fantasy.
Trucking has always been about who gets screwed first. Just because you ain't first, don't mean you ain't getting screwed.

The reason a company hauls loads drivers don't like is the same reason drivers quit. Money
Trucking companies are more than willing to have fifty percent or more driver turnover as long as they have drivers showing up at orientation.

are you even a driver yourself?

let me tell you something, to me, it is not called "exploitation" when you work for a bona fide, good company. it IS however called EXPLOITATION, when one works for a 1099 company.

so please, get your stuff straight.

While true, getting paid hourly like I am reduces it to no more than any other industry.

It's my understanding of trucking that it's not for sissies.

In my OTR days bad loads were subjective..
Could be a bad receiver, a fingerprint load or maybe a area where you might sit, hopefully not all weekend or maybe just not maximum miles for the delivery appt.
But we took em all and that's how we learned the difference between them.

No, I didn’t buy my own truck after getting abused by a an owner who sounded just like you.

I simply quit and got a better job elsewhere.
