Construction BONANZA.... Camper world, Motorhomes, 4 Wheeler Sand Rails being towed one in the pickups, three in the trailer behind that, following a Motorhome.... woo hoo. America at its Best Baby Yeah..... I must agree Moab is very very beautiful. Last time I drove it was covid shutdown so it was really easy. Its just getting crowded like everyplace nice really. Take care, write back and let us know okay? Happy Travels.

There is typically room to park a truck at Wilson's Arch, on the West side of the highway just south of Moab. It's one of the many Arches in the area, you will see many people crawling all over it. Worth stopping for a few pictures and stretching your legs, imo.

Ok, I dropped the 1st truck Sunday in Dolores.. My directions were to drive up 184 until you pass such and such reservoir then go up the hill look for a big red barn then after that is a camper on the left and we're across the street.. lol
Anyway dropped then drove to Monticello, UT and stayed there for the night. ( be careful speeding through there I think the local cop makes the entire town budget from tickets. I saw him stop 3 cars in 20 mins) Anyway got up today and drove into SLC and dropped the van. Was a nice drive but seems could be interesting in the winter if there is snow. That section after Price I think it was where the chain up section is I never saw a place after that to take the chains back off.. That would be interesting in the winter with snow on the ground trying to find a place to pull off to remove your chains..
Also Moab I didn't expect it to be that big.. I always hear of Moab from the off-road guys so I just think off-road trails and camping. Never expected it to be an actual town. Was nice with all the red rocks around there.
Oh and when I got into SLC the westbound on-ramp for 80 was closed from i15. Luckily I didn't need to get off there but I drove under that overpass and there was a day cab Cascadia hanging off the side of the bridge. Both front wheels were out in the air and what was left of the hood was on the ground next to the road I was on. Was interesting pretty much almost driving under a truck hanging off a bridge.. lol
