How is everyone’s company doing right now

hasn't slowed down on flat deck even throughout the winter.

 

Id estimate 9 days of work instead of the usual 10.. we're holding up but its slow. I've seen worse

 

Pulling amazon freight hasn't slowed down at all, if anything it's gotten busier over the months. I usually run Toronto to Montreal twice a week and the rest is spent local.

But it's been up and down a lot on the rates according to what the owner tells me.

 

Cross border ltl still steady.

 

Until you get shot by some insane american.

 

Really? Been doing it 5 nights a week for 23 years, haven’t been shot yet.

 

Still busy in the oilfield. We’re in that $60-$80/barrel sweet spot where things are busy, smooth and predictable.

 

A bigger chance of being killed by the insane drivers running Hwy 11 or 17 than there is of being shot in the US.

 

At MB the guys at the top are still getting good hours. Guys at the bottom are only working a couple days a week but they still get paid 40 hours. Orders for the stores are smaller than usual. Almost no chance to work a fifth day.
