I am salary dedicated. So my pay does not fluctuate as much as others. But miles are not bad. I average 2000-2200 per week, home every weekend. My salary is my minimum, so 800 per week no matter what. And as soon as my mileage rate is more than that, I get the mileage rate.
In columbus we have more freight than we can handle though. Any drivers out of here will run their butts off. Get some time in and they can work up to a dedicated spot. The normal dedicated sucks though, they want to lower pay by .04 cpm off of the regional rate. But salary dedicated we keep our regional rate. Tons and tons of freight. We have more than any other region, and need drivers bad. The more drivers we have in region the more people can get home, while still getting miles.
