It isn't about miles, it is about the total for the load. I've had loads where my DH was 1000 miles but the load was 1 mile and it took four days to complete the load.

1 mile long huh? Took 4 days what?
-
It took me two and a half days to get there (and I was till early), one half day to load and a day to unload because of the work crew who was going to put the thing in place wasn't there at the time and the other crew needed time to do the prep work to put the thing in place right away so not to damage it. I can't tell you what it was but to pay for all of that, it was not a cheap pallet of auto parts.
