Beware of may trucking unless of course if you just need a truck to Sleep in. Poor maintenance.
okiedokie Thanks this. -
Decide what kind of trucking you want to do the options are endless from day cab driver be home every night to oilfield work to long haul you gotta figure out what fits you then try to find a company willing to take you on as a new driver the most advice I give to new drivers is really focus on the next 2 years try not to jump around stick it out get experience. Keep your record clean and don't hit anything .

Having driven for both May and Schneider I'd go Schneider, much nicer terminals and a wide variety of different jobs and plans to chose from, they have tankers, flat beds, intermodal etc. May just has dry van and refer.

It's always good to get the opinions of people who have never worked for a company about that company... Everyone has a friend or a neighbor that told them this or told them that etc. etc. And hearsh is always so reliable.
Y2K said he has driven for them so you can get first hand knowledge from him. Ask people who have actually worked there, visit your local truck stop and look for a May truck fueling and approach the driver, hear the good and the bad first hand, you will get more useable informstion.
Most of the people that answer these questions have never driven for the company in question, and will recommend other companies they have never driven for as better options.
I have never driven for May but I do pass their trucks in the highway.KD5AXG, whitedude919 and rabbiporkchop Thank this. -
Ive probably spoken to 30 or 40 May drivers over the years. Most of them say the same thing
