FJ Willert construction pays really well to haul heavy equipment around So Cal.

 

About a year or so ago someone posted Young's Transportation in Fresno hires new CDL grads. I don't know anything about the company, but one driver posted he did lots of Florida turns.
Anyway, moving to Fresno, will have plenty of good options.

Leavitts is.a very good company I have been there almost a year now but in their 8 axle maxi fleet there are only about 15 of us and your going to need more experience to get the keys to my truck but if it helps any I started at the very bottom 5 years ago cr England thank god my step dad was there to guide me and support me 30 year o/o because he would not let me quit over and over ,watch your driving, protect your record, don't hit anything, 5 years later Leavitts is only my 3rd otr company I have worked for ,my record is flawless ,I can work for anyone I want ,I never brag about what I make but let's say it's more then .48 a mile yet 5 years ago seems like yesterday "jeremy don't worry about what you make ,stay focused watch your driving protect your record and don't hit anything".

Terry Leavitts had lunch with me the second day of orientation which orientation at leavitts pays $1000 a week but how many trucking companies does the owner have lunch with you before your even thru hiring.

 

Just the good ones driver, just the good ones. That's the way to retain employees.

 

Sound advice,I just hit 5 years as a driver and boy did it go by fast. Almost quit a few times within the first year but I hung in there. Spent 4 years driving chip trucks which was a decent job and home daily then just last week started a new gig driving semi end dump for a small company making better money so it keeps getting better.
