    I have a pete 2009 387 and live in Sacramento, CA with no exp in tank. . I am doing reefer east to west runs, at this moment. I am not very happy with the money I am making right now. I get about 2.20 per mile average from cali to east and 1 dollar from east to west before 7% dispatch. Also, $1500 for reefer rent and $900 for all insurances.

    I've heard there is more money in special commodity.

    What are average miles rates from cali in qc?
    Do they pay all insurance/plates/tank maintanance?
    Do they give good miles with no layover?
    Is there tank rent?
    What kind of routes can I expect from sacramenti?
    Is it worth it?

    See my thread in Report A Bad Company here . Your only question I can answer is they do not charge tank rent . You will have e-logs and they watch your every move and report every "violation" to your terminal . The rates I knew of were low . I was a company driver on percentage and my guaranteed rate was no higher than beginning solos for PRIME and Schneider .
