I'm currently running linehaul out of Houston as a system/extra board driver. Going pretty good with good miles considering the time if the year.

However I am looking at transferring out to our terminal in Phoenix. I just really enjoy AZ having lived there for a year back in 2013.. Now that I have a good job I want to move back. I know that most of the big LTL companies run similar routes So im just wondering how it's going out there? What are some of the common runs out of phoenix?

I'm guessing as a system driver I'd be running around CA a lot. Don't know how I feel about that lol. I've heard the speed limits are low and the weigh stations are frequent..

But anyways, all in site is welcome!

    In regards to California:

Speed limit is a stately 55mph.... I think that's why our intrastate get an extra hour....

Weigh stations are numerous, compared to other states, like Starbucks.

On the bright side? We're broke as hell and most of the stations are closed. A few are only open a couple times a month.
