I searched and couldn't find anything so I started this tread. How are your names on the side of your truck? what info do you have on them? I am thinking of putting mine on the step boxes but not really sure.
How is your name/logo on your truck?

7.3 cowboy and MJ1657 Thank this.

Approx how tale are the letters?
-
I gave the vinyl guy available area (length x width) and he made it to fit. I think most of the letters are 3" or so, door letters a little bigger.

Mine are all 2" tall everything is on the door. Law states the writing must be visible at 50 (fifty) feet. So 2" or bigger should suffice. I have the company name, DOT and MC on the door. Unit number is on the side of the hood at the front and is reflective.
Also law states that it must be legible. -
You no longer have to have the mc number. Does the unit number have to be on the hood?
-
I have a thin piece of stainless on front of step boxes under doors with name, numbers, and home town. Put my ifta stickers in the top corner toward front of truck.
7.3 cowboy Thanks this. -

In 3" letters on the bottom front of the sleeper. Company name, Town, Dot #, phone number. I like hearing complaints from the car drivers.

You don't need unit number on hood. Never did. I put one on a polished SS license plate on my bumper then watch the loaders come out looking for me and walk right past it. They always look for the number before a name on the door.
