good question, sadly i do not have an answer. i could only surmise (not assume) that you are in the system now as having been thru one.

so be prepared for anything.

Just for the record. At this time there are NO FMCSA Sleep Apnea guidelines. Congress slapped their hands a few years ago and they took them down. If there are guidelines they are from very recent rule making. DO NOT allow a Medical Examiner tell you this is the law. ALL the Examiner is required to do is use good Judgement in this area. The problem is a huge cross section of these walk in clinics have a financial interest in sleep labs. They have ignored what Congress did and keep on doing this. As several posters have said, GO find an Examiner that is more reasonable.

 

Im leaning towards Sleep Apena turned into a Frankenstein a sort of a cottage industry that have parasites latch onto truckers who are generally in the best shape outside of the military when you consider a people of any given area for financial gain.

Sleep Laps are not. If you lay there and don't go to sleep, it's not working and they will kick you out. I tell them if they want snoring and sleeping, here is a vein, put something good into it. Not much, just a dallop and you will have your sleepy bed bye soon enough.

But no....

Anyhow... Im a little bit of a runt with a BMI of 19. It's not much, never has been compared to the rest of my family who tip the scales at times. I mean scales only go so high and then they don't work anymore. So there is no point. =)
