How long are you on the road for???

I'll leave on a Monday, stay out for the weekend, come home on the following Tues/Weds.

 

leave on Wednesday home sat am bout 1800 miles thats it

 

Out 5 to 6 weeks at a time, unless I've got something going on at the house. This gives me time to run a student completely through training without interruption and then I take about a week off as needed.

 

i clear between 2200 and 2500 week after fuel

 

LOL I would watch out with that scenerio. When I was on SNI's Choice Program my wife would help book me loads...never failed if she was mad at me I went away from home or some place she knew would be a pain. LOL

 

It all depends on the areas you run. If I run local I'm home every night. Gross btw 3-4 for the week. If I am out on the road I try to keep it under 3 weeks and that gives me btw 5-6500 per week. You gotta run where the work is. Most of the time local pays more, however, when good road work comes up you need to be ready to jump on it.

 

So do you guys have your own trailer too and your own authority ?
NFI messed up my DAC and I have to do something different.

 

Have my own authority, pull my own trailer, LOVE IT.....Dont have to listen to someone cry about I need to get out of the truckstop or I need to get on the road!
