There is a old white day cab bobtail parked at the San Antonio TA, about a year ago I was there in the spot next to it when someone parked it. Window slightly down and it’s been there since. So a year looks good.
Swadian Thanks this. -
Are you sure they didn't move it?
-
Oh yea I took a pic of it after about 3 months, then a few months later. Bunch of cards left on it, dust like it’s been sitting. Same exact position.Swadian Thanks this.

Dang, who own it? They have DOT number? Maybe insurance expired.

Better tell that to all the new Canadians parking their cars in 10-20 spots in the back all day, only to park their day cab tractors one-per-stall at night and the management doesn't want to do anything about it.
To the OP, if you talk to a manager and make arrangements that are reasonable (i.e. don't ask to leave it there unattended for a week or two) and I'm sure they'll be fine with it. I did a weekend in Waterloo, IA over the summer, left the truck at the Love's on the south side there and stayed in a hotel up the street. Talked to them and explained what was going on, manager told me no problem.Swadian Thanks this. -
Check it out, when I come to town I’ll park next to it cause I know it will be quiet on that side of truck lol

After clearing out a fence I happen to have discovered a spot at my house big enough for the 40-footer, and Reno Parking Enforcement says it OK (I have no HOA), the only problem is that the spot is next to gas pipes and the coach could accidentally hit the pipes when parking (the pipes are to the side of the spot). Is there any way I could block off the pipes with something that wouldn't damage the coach?
Wow, if he leaves too long that thing might not run anymore. -
You have to ask the manager at each location.

Just have someone spot you when backing in to make sure you don't hit them. I'd be more worried about hitting them causing a gas leak than any damage to the coach.
